Dog roses
Folklore tells how the roots of a dog rose could cure the bite of a rabid dog.
It was also a common symbol in medieval history and for the Tudors.
The rose hips are rich in Vitamin C.
Had an appointment with the podiatrist in Sherborne. Afterwards I looked through a few charity shops and bought a sandwich to take home at The Pear Tree.
