Two for Joy

Such a weird day, one where everything took a lot longer than envisaged. Especially as I kept bumping into people, which was also rather lovely.

Started with making more body lotion, this time for the other hotel (different fragrance), then I headed over to Whitmuir to meet someone who wanted to pick my brain (more fool them, lol). 

Did a restock while I was at Whitmuir then headed on to Penicuik to do the restock at The Storehouse, that I ran out of time for yesterday. 

A last-minute decision, as I was driving past, to pop down to Valleyfield to see if there were any kingfishers about was richly rewarded. Ive been looking regularly but its been weeks and weeks since my last kingfisher spot there - today there were three - two juveniles and a male adult (according to the very kind and knowledgeable birder who was there and happy to share and show me some of his photographs and look through his super fancy lens). Properly made my day. 

Did my restock in Penicuik and then got home late afternoon still with a long list of to-dos. Seriously running out of time now, markets Sat/Sun and visitors arriving Sunday too, eek! 

I've worked out exactly what I 'have' to do tomorrow so I'm ready to hit the ground running in the morning. Its going to be a quick day, thats for sure!
