Viper's bugloss

With bees .. 

Pilates in the morning, the rigorous class.  Afternoon walk by the Trinity path to Granton. Came across this Echium vulgare flourishing in the edge of the path by the seawall.  No little birds, saw a pair of oystercatchers and a pair of dark diving ducks being harassed by  gulls. Scoters, maybe ? 

Walked up by Granton Crescent park to get a no 8 bus from Boswall Parkway. It conveniently stops just at Broughton Market, so fetched provisions there on the way in.
