Petunias

Gradually, the house is being taken back to a chaotic mess once more. After recovering from all the remedial work of recent months, we now have a mysterious electrical fault. One of the circuits has been tripping, and despite copious investigations both by us and our electrician, there appears to be no answer to the problem. Every appliance on the circuit has been disconnected, but it still trips as soon as the circuit breaker is reinstated.

Consequently, we have extension leads all over the place to allow us to keep the internet alive, make cups of tea etc - and so it will remain for 10 more days until the electrical can return! Perhaps it’s just as well I’m off to hospital next week!

At least we’re out to lunch - again! By now I’m on my low-residue pre-op diet of predominantly beige food with no fibre, fruit or vegetables - but for potatoes that is. At least there’s no bowel-prep this time, for which I must be grateful!

Before the rain sets in, I photograph a pink petunia flower, deeply veined with purple, and spend far too long faffing with the image, ending with a Warholesque creation for Abstract Thursday.  Strictly speaking, I know each bloom should have the same orientation, but I prefer them radiating from a central point!
