Lily

Days are very uneventful at the moment I’m afraid. I should have had a Covid jab today which could have been my main news, but I’ve been advised to postpone it just incase I have a bad reaction - better safe than sorry. 

My purple nicotiana plants arrive from Sarah Raven - I must admit I’m very impressed by their extremely well established state - so there’s some planting to be done. Now all we need are some gloriously balmy summer evenings to enjoy the perfume - though I suspect we may well have had the best of our summer already! 

There’s some shopping and a much needed hair cut for me, and I manage to finally complete my long-overdue New Zealand book. All that’s needed now is a careful edit both of text and layout - though we all know that however carefully this is done, the moment the finished product is unwrapped and opened, at least one error will jump out from the page! 

It’s a flower theme again today - but at least it’s Flower Friday - and it’s a more serene and calmer image than yesterday!
