Bumblebee

The flowers are covered with bees just now. I chose this one as you can see its proboscis quite clearly. Unfortunately I seem to see a lot of rather sickly looking bees at the moment. There are plenty of lively ones too but I don't like to see them off colour. 

Up super early today and out with Flora. Then off to the Council HQ for a meeting with a senior officer who is working with the riding project. The chair and I were there for what turned out to be an interesting discussion. A log jam might be breached. 

Then home for a great long list of domestic stuff. Once I've given Flora another walk I'm coming home, getting changed and toddling along the road to sit in neighbours' garden and enjoy an evening with them. I am really looking forward to that positive start to the weekend.
