Kitty's First Birthday

A beautiful calm and sunny morning, clouded over with torrential rain mid morning, but came a beautiful sunny day and evening.  A breeze picked up. 

Another day working with Andrea.  With the fine morning, we made a start to weeding in Weisdale.  Unfortunately the heavy rain fell on us, probably washed off our spray.  Headed to Nesting, rain there too.  Back to Lerwick, we spent the rest of the day spraying Nederdale.  Walkies with Sammy after work, popped by Madeline's.  Working in the shop this evening, a busy night.  Feels like I've never been away now.  Quiet night by the fire, and Kitty cuddles.

I can hardly believe it's been a whole year today, since I popped by Laura's on my way home, and there was a newly born litter of kittens.  Kitty was the youngest in her litter, but that didn't stop her.  Since coming home to Scalloway, she's grown into a beautiful cat with a stunning personality, she really is a perfect affectionate animal.  She's still very much playful, loves the outdoors, and loves her cuddles.  Happy first birthday, Kitty, and many more to come.  Kitty playing in the birthday sunshine, Hawthorn Cottage garden, Houl Road, Scalloway.
