Brief Pause

A pair of sandhill cranes had their heads buried in the wetland, happily feeding. Occasionally, one or other would raise its head for a scan around. I had to be quick to get my shot before it resumed its foraging pose. No sign of young here, although I have seen them elsewhere, sadly without a camera.
