York

This is Thursday

Yesterday we arrived in York,at our hotel for the next few days.  Today, my birthday, we went into York on the Park and Ride to meet dear freinds who had moved here eight years ago.  We have not seen them since they moved but we carried on conversation as though it were yesterday when we last met.  We plan to meet again although much has happened (that is negative healthwise) to us all in the intervening years. 
This evening we had dinner with the family at our hotel and numbered 17.
