Old Stone Cottage . . .

The old Stone Cottage has been transformed into a reception place for weddings etc. It will be opened soon.
It’s intriguing and I can’t wait to see inside.

It’s been cold 4-5° all day. Quite a bit of snow fell on the mountains overnight but none at home. Apparently 90cms fell at Mt Hutt Skifield. They’ll be pleased!

I drove through the Kawarau Gorge to Cromwell this afternoon, to visit my neighbour, who is still in hospital there. The very good news is that he’ll be coming home tomorrow! It’s been a marathon for him and not an easy stay. Many patients have dementia, but my neighbour is still sharp, and has found it challenging not having people to talk to.
