Worth another look
Argemone platyceras featured in extreme close up when the first flower opened. There were a lot of buds in waiting then and they continue to prove an eye-catching feature in the garden. The seemingly delicate flowers survive the indifferent weather surprisingly well.
A quiet day. A few chores, a couple of dog walks, Rhydyronen has lots of holiday visitors in summer which means a bit of dog-dodging ... or a lot of noise from Meg! Still a lovely area. I made a couple of short visits to pottery to roll clay for various projects and progressed them at home. After cooking a nice tea and making a batch of my favourite biscuits an early night beckons when the episode of Time Team I am watching on YouTube finishes.
