The accidental finding

Summer is icumen in (backblip)

…though to be fair, when I’m in the dark cupboard -office, I don’t notice.

Saw my colleague this morning and the ex-colleague came in and said how glad she was that she’s retired! Saw a client in the afternoon, then had to rush around: Steve picked me up and took my bag home, I went to the hairdresser, finished there early, then went back downhill to the cinema, to meet ex-colleague A there, to see The Salt Path. Did we like it?
Meh. Not as good as the book. Too many close ups of Gillian Anderson’s face. The camera loves her. No naming of places. UK cast as a bunch of loveable eccentrics (apart from the rich folk). I think it’s one for the export market. However, I’ve heard that others have liked it, AND it was the first time I’d been to thr cinema in months.

It was light enough to walk home along the canal towpath. I love the long evenings!
