Artists Studio Tour

The Loudoun artists tour is held in late Spring and late Fall. Isabelle and I went to two stops, one a painter's studio and another a shared space for artists at Franklin Park. I found a pretty felted flower (dogwood) brooch for my mom's upcoming birthday, and Isabelle found...a paintbrush! A painter I'd been speaking with, who paints local scenes of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers and the Blue Ridge, asked if Isabelle would like to add a few brushstrokes for the tree trunk she was working on.

Another stop at a farmer's market, and now two jalapeno pepper plants and a dill herb are planted in the garden.

Hope you're all having a good weekend.
