Lotsa Work Done
My daughter, after a very busy morning, left to go home today. Life was a whirlwind with her here! From the time she arrived yesterday afternoon until she left today, she has been working away on my To-Do List and she sure made a dent in it!
My old TV now gets Netflix again; a new TV was not necessary, just a new Apple box. A new ceiling pot light bulb has been purchased and inserted, my broken bird feeder is now repaired, and all heavy things waiting for strong arms have now been lifted and put in place, including that 50 lb bag of birdseed in the trunk of my car. My upstairs windows also require some lifting as they have to be taken out to be washed and now they are actually see-through again!
The one problem we were unable to solve during her visit was my Apple Watch which is refusing to update software. It appears I will have to head off to an Apple store to find out what is wrong with it. Other than that, every problem she tackled got fixed!
Of course, all this activity totally wore me out! It took a 2-hour nap this afternoon for me to even partially recover, but I did...sort of...and found enough energy to start working on some neglected garden chores.
Shawn does all the major work, and was here today digging out that old Yucca plant and pruning some shrubs, but I am responsible for some of the smaller tasks. It was a challenge, but today, I did finally get my herbs into pots! Whew! (Applause please)
Shawn, noting my gardening short-comings and lack of initiative, offered to create arrangements for the two planters on my front porch next week. He seemed concerned that it is mid-June and they were still sitting there empty?
