Golden Whiskers

We had much better weather today so after a late start we took ourselves to Emsworth for a wander. We don’t have many fields of crops around us and were especially surprised to see this golden barley. How beautiful it looked in the sunshine as we peered out at it from the dark woods.

In Emsworth we sat on the quayside for a while and enjoyed watching the boats and passers by. Several people stopped to chat with Merlin who seemed very happy to be socialising.

The rest of the day has slipped by with meals, another dog walk and a bit of down time.
