Three Dung Beetles.

I visited the New Hall Art Collection in the Murray Edwards College, Huntingdon Rd, Cambridge. This is a newer college (1965) just outside the city centre at the top of Castle Hill and somewhere new to me. On my way to the basement where the art was displayed, I had to go down a spiral staircase and on the floor at the bottom of the stairs, were these Three Dung Beetles, cast in bronze, by Wendy Taylor , 2000. Although not part of the exhibition,I thought this quite an unusual subject for a sculpture and thank goodness it was lit up !
