Börjes Fisk Nauvo

A rainy day in the archipelago today. A perfect reason to start the week slow. A morning walk along the beaches and in the forest around Nauvo followed by getting smoked, graved and fresh salmon.

The smoked salmon was still slightly warm as it was prepared in the early morning hours.

And yes, Kara was not pleased to wait outside in the rain. Especially for a dog nose, the smell must have been overwhelming.

Back home at noon, we lit the fireplace in the living room, smoked salmon with toast as an appetizer and grilled salmon with vegetable galettes and salad as a main course.

Watching movies in front of the fireplace all afternoon. Heating the beach sauna up at 5pm. Lovely relaxed day at “home”.
