Beauty and the Beast...

...all in one! I assume this insect is a type of locust, although the others I've seen have been even bigger and a dull brown colour. Although it was nestling in the sprouts this morning I couldn't face killing it. Insects that large (about 2 inches long) make the most awful crunching sound when you squash them and it was the only one so hopefully won't eat much!
