Big Sky

We had no deadline for getting home. We showered, dressed, packed, ate breakfast and got on the road by 9:00. The drive has been uneventful so far, just sooo long. The views today were just as beautiful as yesterday but we were in the mountains, looking down in the valleys. This photo was taken at the memorial for those who lost their lives building the mountain highways. We made a couple necessary stops, had Mexican in Charlottesville for lunch and will fill the gas tank before getting in to Maryland. We should be home by 5:00 pm. We’ll wait until tomorrow to restock the staples. We only need a few things since we leave again early Friday morning. That trip will be around 3.5 hours plus our usual stops. My new car is extremely comfortable, has plenty of room and drives smoothly. Hubby will visit his salesman this week and see if they can find an agreeable deal to trade his SUV for one with more cargo room. Wishing you success this week on any deals you negotiate. Stay safe.
