Palm Trees in the Park

This morning I had calls to make and calls to take. It all went OK really and it will be up to Barclays whether or not we will need probate. I will go up there later this week and have a chat with them. There are a few quite big outstanding bills to be paid too. 

I had a bit more cleaning to get done today - bathroom and kitchen. We are all set for Grace to stay now. She is coming down for my Mum's funeral which takes place tomorrow afternoon. It will only be a small do, just family. Mum outlived almost everyone she knew of her generation. There's an aunt and uncle on my Dad's side, but they are not in good enough health to attend. One of my cousins (The nicer one!) and his family will be on holiday but the other one and his new lady friend will be coming, I think. Maybe Estelle, my parents' old neighbour too, but I'm not sure.

My Blip was taken in the Arboretum this afternoon when I went for a walk in between the calls and the cleaning.
