Ashland - Portland.  Day 2.  From one end of Oregon to the other.  

Slept well but body took a while to recalibrate.  After breakfast (oatmeal and berries for me, breakfast burrito and potatoes for T) we checked out and headed out after fueling up the car.  Another hot day.  Saw lots of deer and elk.  In areas of the drive Rogue-Siskyou-Grants Pass-Umpqua section takes concentration, broken down trucks not dealing with the climbs.  Took a break just outside Roseburg.  Another near Salem...  Then Mount Hood visible and one knows one is in the final stretch.  Arrived to a busy Portland, the last day of the Rose Festival, I think.  93ºF.

Parked and unloaded the car and took a rest for an hour before heading out on a grocery run.
