Another fine dry day, so R was busy outside trimming our hedge, while our painter Garret was having a good day working at the front of the house, both of them fending off the occasional cicada! (See yesterday’s entry) I took myself off for a little shopping trip to LLBean in Kenwood, hoping to buy some new lightweight hiking trousers. I’ve seen them online, but I need to try them on to check the size, so I hoped they would have them in my size, as I’d like to take them with me tomorrow when we go down to Cumberland Gap for a few days with our travel trailer. Fortunately I was in luck, and I came away with a pair, and a new top. They also had some nice lightweight hiking capris, but unfortunately not in my size, so I shall have to order those online.
In the afternoon, I was getting things ready to go in the camper. We didn’t want to pick it up until later, since G had his pick up truck parked on the driveway.
