Sea Urchin

By seaurchin

Spent a lot of today thinking. When I'm in thinking mode I often bake, so I ended up making a chocolate and vanilla marble loaf and then ate a slice whilst it was still hot :-) By late afternoon though I had thought myself out, so the children and I, followed by Blue the cat, had a wander in the field by the cottage. The light was magical and the children were in high spirits watching Blue bound through the wheat. When Murron turned to me, characteristically holding her hair away from her face and looking so serious, time seemed to stand still. Just for a moment. And that moment felt like a memory, as if it were an old photo discovered in an album that would bring the field and their laughter flooding back.
