Slow worms in residence

Can't blame them keeping warm under a sheet of abandoned corrugated metal on the heath. I counted 7. Felt more like Autumn.
Walking up to the allotment early morning I could hear shouting & the occasional scream coming from the cemetery. I walked up to the boundary hedge, could hear someone sobbing. I called out to ask if they were okay, thinking it might be an argument. A girl of about 18-20 years of age was sat in her pyjamas & dressing gown at her brother grave. He'd died in a road accident 5 years ago.... "I miss him SO MUCH". She apologised for being so loud. I tried to console her, getting a bit teary myself at which point I left her with her brother & walked back to the plot.
Got to Mum's in the nick of time this morning, there were cups, mugs of apple juice, the table laid with tea towels for placemats. Mum, no socks or slippers... She is a treasure.
Mum had breakfast, I walked Indie. Clive, the window cleaner was at Mum's. I jokingly, not so subtle hinted, that he'd given me another job. Cleaning the window ledges... He got the hint. :-)
We drove out to the House of Marbles for a coffee, sharing a piece of cookie cheesecake. Coffee was okay, cheesecake did'nt taste of anything. We had a look in on the Teign Valley Glassworks where 3 people were involved in the creation of one large glass vase! I then remembered it was the Mono Monday subject.
TBC later. I'm up the plot. - ( back Blip)

Extras - Teign Valley Glassworks team in action.
A piece in their 'Wave' series.
