Whilst on the subject..
My wildflower blips seem to be returning rather often, this year, to cranesbills/geraniums. So whilst on the subject, here is an example of Druce's Cranesbill, Geranium oxonianum, which is a hybrid between Pencilled Cranesbill, Geranium versicolour, which I posted an image of in April, and French Cranesbill, geranium endressii, which I will now try to find an example of for my interest as much as anything.. (And sorry about all the Latin names, I just thought it would be easier to look up for those blippers interested but with English not their first language.)
So this was taken this morning when it was still grey and slightly damp, although we have had some sunshine, particularly this afternoon. It tempted me to do some gardening, but I did boringly domestic jobs instead and unpacked my new paper shredder. Oh my goodness, the office is going to look sooo tidy - one day!
And now a huge thank you for your incredibly kind comments, hearts and stars on my 12th year blip yesterday. So very lovely that you all are. Thank you, thank you!!!
Have a happy evening xxxx
