Above the haze with …

… Julie-Anne not Julie Andrews! Ouff, every time I do this walk from Le Flon  up the Grande Jumelle I wonder if I’ll be able to do it next year! It’s such a beautiful, but steep, ascent and therefore descent. We were very lucky to see a man with binoculars watching a cliff, there are Eagles nesting there for the first time since 2002! We saw one of the parents flying quite high, obviously looking for food (extra). In previous years, I’ve always seen bouquetin up there, but not today despite the fact that there were only two other people on the mountain whilst we were there. Almost everywhere you looked there were miniature Alpine Gardens. The one in extra could easily have been my blip today. I didn’t know which to use.

After two days on the hill, I really need a rest tomorrow especially as it’s yoga in the evening, I don’t want to fall asleep in my own classes! Huge thanks for all complimentary comments about yesterday‘s big walk too.
