Spot The Heron

Grace stayed over yesterday so she didn't have to rush back to Leeds after the funeral. We watched a light-hearted movie last night (With some shouting and shooting to keep Brian happy!) and fortunately all got good sleeps as the neighbours were in and quiet!

Today we just chilled out - well, Grace and I did - Brian was back at work! After lunch though, Grace and I took a long walk along the river-bank via the Half Moon Bridge. It was a warm day with a gentle breeze - perfect for a walk! 

Grace wanted to get Vegan ice cream but nowhere had it - the café by the river normally has it but had sold out and the Co-op appears to have stopped selling the Vegan versions of Magnum. We came home and raided Brian's Calippo lollies instead!

She's on her way "home" to Leeds now. She and Sophia and their friend James are looking for a new house to rent as theirs is mainly for students. Sophia finishes Uni this month so they will then have to move out. It is not being helped by the fact that James was made redundant last week... I hope they find somewhere very soon!
