A bit of an EB

A very wet day on Skye involved a lot of driving for me but it gave Mr PHL’s and Stuart the opportunity to enjoy a wee dram or two at Torabhaig distillery. The ferry crossing went smoothly though the rain meant we sat in the passenger lounge. Linda and I dropped the guys at the distillery then filled the car with diesel at Bradford before heading to the hotel we stayed at in February for a bite of lunch. Phin was warmly welcomed and made a fuss of whilst we enjoyed some soup and a shared plate of pulled pork ‘nachos’ where the base was fried triangles of potato scone.

Picked the chaps up after their tasting/tour and headed back to Bradford to find them sone lunch and picked up pizzas in the co-op to have for dinner before driving back towards Armadale for the ferry to the mainland. We were a bit early but the cafe at Armadale castle sullied us with tea and cake to keep us occupied. The ferry was pretty busy and we were rather tightly packed so we stayed in the car on the return journey.

Pizzas were tasty after we’d added our own toppings of olives, onions and salami.

Thanks to Carolina for hosting MonoMonday even if I am back blipping this on Wednesday.
