Hoverfly

A relatively lazy day catching up on a few chores (ugh) and then the delight of lunch with gorgeous granddaughter, who is doing voluntary work at a local accountants before starting her 'proper' apprenticeship job in July.  She says she is enjoying what she is being shown/learning at the moment so it looks as if things will go well for her. Phew!
A short walk around the garden and I found this little beauty on the mesembryanthemums,  enjoying the late afternoon sunshine. It has been warm and even though rain was promised we had none - yet.
