Local history

I took mum and dad out for coffee at their favourite Farm Shop and then afterwards we went on to Springfields, a Shopping outlet near Spalding. They got a few bits and pieces they wanted . Back home for lunch and then I took Dad into their nearest town ( where I went to Grammar School many years ago). Whilst there I spotted this building. It’s now an  Accountant Firm but they’ve taken the frontage back to the 19th century. It’s got quite the history. Arnold Pick ran an ironmongery and a forge and then when he does the Foley Brothers who came from Yorkshire. After they passed on T A Arnold had a garage and petrol pump . It’s had a number of other owners, one being a jewellers where I had my ears pierced! I like the look of it  but it will be interesting to see whether it stays like this.
