Cherrie

Day 2 in the office, and my colleague Cherrie (sometimes called Strawberry to differentiate her from me!), who I am sitting next to, because the lady whose desk I am at is on holiday. Cherrie has been away on her annual leave, and she was much missed, mostly because of the crazy things she comes out with. Today, she allowed me to take this photograph of her - she doesn't look at all like the mum of a twenty-something (who recently started working in another section of the company).

I had to leave at noon to collect the new compressor. I am so impressed with this new company I've found. If only they did more than just cooling system parts. I then delivered the part to the garage so that they had enough time to work on the car to give it back to me by Friday. It was more than a little disappointing when I heard around 3 PM that the part wouldn't work. It took a few phone calls to source another one, from the person I bought the one that is being replaced. I found out today that it was the crankshaft pulley using the same belt, that damaged the compressor.

G & I are now waiting for him to bring it to us (at 10 PM) so that we can leave it with the security guard, so the garage has it first thing in the morning. There you go!
