Gimme Shelter

In spite of the ominous clouds to the west, we went for a stroll after tea this evening.Fiona, Charlie and I had been out during the day (we bought a new bed - can't wait for it to arrive) but Samuel had been doing some work before returning to school next week, and hadn't been out at all. About fifteen minute into the walk we took shelter from the inevitable shower beneath some tall pines. It soon lightened up and we were on our way. Twenty minutes later the sun was out and rainbows and jumping on old hay bales. It became such a nice evening that when we got home I went out for a run. The street lights were on by the time I returned. Dare I say: "The nights are fair drawin' in."
