Rose Campion

I visited my recorder tutor this morning to take her a plant for her new home and to tell her that I am leaving the recorder alone for a while.  It doesn't fit into my routine just now and it began to feel like something I had to do because I had a lesson coming up, rather than something I wanted to do.  Also having the splint on my finger means it's no go for quite some time.  We had a good catch up and, after a cuppa, walked back to the station as she had some teaching to do in a Skipton school.

Back home it was time for a few jobs then I had a bit of a nap in front of Nicholas Nickleby on the tv.  Refreshed I walked down into the village for Pilates.

Tony discovered the rose campions growing in the allotment and transplanted them to the raised border last year.  This year they are doing particularly well and I love their vibrant colour set against the grey foliage

Apologies for the lack of comments, busy days just now..
