The Salt Path

I've read the book and today I went to see the film. Mr HB came with me and full of anticipation we got comfy in our luxury seats at the VUE cinema in Newcastle-U-Lyme.

 I loved the film and was glad to see it had followed Ray's book well. If you like courage after despair portrayed beautifully by two brave people, laughter and tears, nature, stunning scenery, fresh air, kindness of strangers and Cornwall, then you'll love it too.  

Sadly Mr HB wasn't so taken with the film, probably not quite his cup of tea, no aerial action?!!

Mr HB has decided that he's no longer able to cut our huge and long hedge, so a well recommended hedge cutter came early this morning and has done a perfect job, even taking all the cuttings away.
