Hooray! Hooray!

Alan's off on holiday!  Can you tell he's excited?!  :-)

Alan does love his lie-ins but when it's time to head off on holiday, he's up with the larks.  Aliyah had all his stuff packed yesterday (she's the most organised person I know.  So methodical when it comes to packing!) and had Alan up and ready to go, so when Vickie and Penny arrived at 9.00am all they had to do was pack the car, get Alan in and go!  Off to Hereford near Hay-on-Wye.  Weather forecast good so I am sure they'll have a great time.  

D headed off to play golf at Ross Priory at Loch Lomond.  Unfortunately today is the worst day weather-wise this week.  I spent the afternoon researching places to visit on our trip to Northumberland, having a long overdue clear out of the kitchen drawers (so happy that job is done :-) and some sketches for my art project with Blip Pal P.  Next stage ink drawing then painting.  

D returned fairly happy with his round and that he didn't get too wet.  

Dinner then episodes five, six and seven of Department Q.  Think we've figured it out but still enjoying it massively.  And we might be wrong :-)
