Another quiet day

Early this morning Corinna came over and with Angie rode out with Rosie and Sultan and the 3 dogs. Shortly after she left, Kathi, much to Luna's joy, came by for a chat and to borrow the horse trailer for a week.

Meanwhile I pottered around the garden and there followed the usual afternoon routine. I snoozed, Angie did water exercises and dead headed the terrace flowers. A bit more pottering, dog grooming, horse shelter mucking out, start up the BBQ, collect herbs and salads from the garden. The last job before enjoying the BBQ , was to take the horses to the field outside the property, a job both dogs take very seriously but also know there will be a bit of Frisbee throwing and so collect up their discs on the way.

So another relaxed day with wonderful weather. Got up to 30°C on the terrace but there was a pleasant breeze. Tomorrow should also be good until rain comes in the evening and for Monday, before it heads back up to the 30°C for next weekend. Rain will be a welcome change but it's great particularly for the school children that this summer is after many years, showing it's positive side.
