Sorrow

Today has been a quieter day. I caught up with an old uni friend this morning. It was lovely to hear all her news and spend some time catching up with each other. (I still can't quite believe we left uni 15 years ago! We can't be that old surely?!?)

This afternoon Mother Flowerpower popped over for a cup of tea, once I'd let her in, as I was in the middle of having a little power nap.

This evening I've been out to dinner with my singing gang. Always good fun. An evening of good food, laughter and general merriment. Lovely.

This is a statue of Hamlet in Stratford. He is looking down on the skull of his friend Yorick. I like his face and think that this sculpture really captures his sorrow.
