FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFLOWER FRIDAY!

I wandered around the garden first thing this morning and found such a proliferation of flowers - all so beautiful - and thought I would do a collage.  However, I had to miss some out because this particular app only allows me to use 25 photographs - hence the title!

Pride of Place has to go to the beautiful Passion Flower, which I have put in the middle and this is in honour of Amanda T’s Mum, Deanna_Pearce, who sadly passed away in May 2022.  Deanna loved her Passion Flowers, and I always think of her when ours come out.  This isn’t on our main Passion Flower plant though, but on the one on the boundary wall at the back of the garden.  

You will also see that there are lots of pink, mauve and purple flowers - just because I like them and all shades are my favourite colour.  

I know some people will feel that a collage is cheating a bit, but they are allowed and it’s good to see from year to year what is blooming in our garden.

The extra is a HUGE bowl of lettuce that Mr. HCB collected from the garden this morning - bless him, he washed and spun it all and it is now in five separate bags in the fridge, ready to give away to friends - and of course, there is also a bowlful for us to eat at teatime.

P.S.  Gave away two lots of soup last night to different neighbours, and we have a friend coming for lunch of soup and bread today - and hopefully she will take home a bag of lettuce - it’s so good to be able to share.
