THERE'S ALWAYS ONE!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

It was a very warm night and we didn’t sleep very well - probably because we were shoved under the stairs because Mrs. HCB was on a cleaning binge yesterday and wanted to clear up!  She, on the other hand, slept until 8.30 so was late down having her breakfast because she goes into her Quiet Room before she comes downstairs - one day we will go in there and make LOTS OF NOISE!

Anyway, Mr. HCB suggested that we go out and play in the long grass and with the Ox-Eye Daisies, so we thought that was a good idea.  However, one of us - who shall be nameless, but who came all the way over to us from the United States of America a few years ago, thought that he would climb up the obelisk with the Compassion Rose - perhaps he thought that Daisies weren’t good enough for him and obviously didn’t realise there would be thorns on the way up - and on the way down!

You can see him at the top of this collage - we think he got wedged in and then couldn’t get out - how very silly of him!  We think it would have made dear Admirer giggle though.

We just had a good roll around in the grass and it was great - we never see any footballs around, so guess the HCBs don’t play games in the garden now their children and grandchildren are all grown up - so we will have to make our own fun by playing hide and seek.  There are lots of places to hide in the garden, so we will have a great time and then perhaps today, instead of hot chocolate and marshmallows - as that would be silly in such hot weather - we will have an ice cream - which sounds good to us.

Just a reminder, as if you need one, to BE KIND - you know it’s a good thing to do and as we always say, you never know how much you will “lift” someone by your kindness - and who knows, someone may just show a kindness to you!

P.S.  The naughty climbing one was shouting and hollering to help us get him down - we did eventually, but told him he mustn’t do it again and he has promised he won’t - time will tell!
