Volca
The Minx returned to Salford, today, while I stayed up in Kirkby Lonsdale, intending to do a bit of music and sort some bits out around the house now the joiners are finishing up but, in the end, it was mostly work.
Which is fine. I'm in a slightly odd position in my company and some days are busy and some are not. I try to take advantage of the quiet times and crack on when there's stuff to do.
I got chatting to one of the joiners, Nick, who commented on the fact that I have three or four Public Service Broadcasting mugs. He went on to say that one of the other joiners, Mark, is a 'horn player', and that he'd played at the Royal Albert Hall with Public Service Broadcasting when they did their orchestral version of 'The Race For Space' with the Multi-Story Orchestra.
Imagine being that talented a musician AND being good with your hands. I'm very envious.
I did spend some time sat in front of my kit, though. These little devices are from the Volca range made by Korg. I'm going to try and write something just using them.
