Chilling

It’s been a hot day here today! 26 degrees out there now at 6pm…

We took Merry for a walk in the woods behind Priory Park in Reigate. Beautiful woods with many sweet chestnut trees. We emerged onto the ridge of the Greensand Way, a long distance footpath which runs east almost to the Kent coast. Here we are taking a breather on a shady stone seat.

Extras of some edible fungi - Dryads Saddle and Oyster Mushrooms- we left them for another time.
