Two Headed Marmot.
Not really, but these two left their burrow at the same time. It has just cleared of snow as you can see the Snowbells, those little purple flowers, Soldenela Alpina, which are the first flowers to push through the snow in the spring.
Francoise and I left very early this morning to try to beat the heat of the day. We were very glad that we did. By the time we got back down it was over 30°C. In the extras you can see the type of walk this was. However, if you are thinking of doing it, you can no longer park in the parking at the bottom of the main footpath. So it adds an extra 40 minutes there and back, to your route. I suspect it’s going to diminish the numbers of people going up there which is probably a good thing.
Have a great weekend everyone.
