A Sea of Green
There is only a dab of colour out there in the garden right now and it is pink...one lone dianthus plant and those never-say-die bleeding hearts! Those bleeding hearts will grow and flourish anywhere. Check out the extra for one that found its way from the asphalt (!) driveway next door to sunlight on my side of the fence! It is, however, welcome, as one needs a a punch of colour to perk up all that green!
I had a busy morning trying to organize things for my trip to the cottage. That first trip north means gathering a lot of the basic things that stay there all season as well as what I will need just for this visit. And I am not to be lifting anything right now, so that was somewhat of a challenge. I left a lot to be dealt with later!
I also spent some time out and about doing errands - which are easier to do when one is comfortable and not in pain or discomfort!. The cortisone and pain pills are doing a fine job!
After that, I had a relaxing sit on the deck just watching the birds who are out in full force again, now that I have filled the feeders. ( extra) Keeping those birds and bunnies and squirrels and raccoons in seeds has developed into a daily task. It's now a full time job! But worth it.
