"The" Bush

Every year we wait for "The Bush" to bloom, specifically Yvonne's bush. Yvonne works with our daughter Karen. We pull right into her backyard, confront her husband Larry, and say..."We're here for our annual picture of the bush."

It really is a beauty, covering up about half of their house. I thought I knew what kind of bush it was, but I just asked Lisa and Karen what is, and NEITHER of them can tell me, although Karen did guess hydrangea. Whatever it is, it is striking.

We made an afternoon run into both Costco and Sam's Club in preparation for Father's Day on Sunday. While at Costco, we bought a 4.98 rotisserie chicken, which we had for supper.

It's pretty bad when a chicken is the high point of your day, although I did finish a Winnie the Pooh painting this morning. Pooh is so cute.
