Don the Beachcomber

Tonight was my last night at my French meetup before I leave for Spain. These past few months, I've been dragging myself to go to these events. My motivation to continue my French learning has halted. I'm making the shift to bettering my Spanish and preparing to go abroad. Nevertheless, I've grown to like the people. For the most part, they have a genuine care for my well being. Those who went tonight wished me the best and hoped to see me back at the meetup in a year.

Aftewards, a few of us went to a live performance at a bar in Huntington Beach. Overall it was good. The music was a bit loud for my liking and my voice paid the price. The next morning I'm going to sound like a frog.
