In Bloom

Back blip for Friday. Saturday is posted, too.

The Texas Ranger bushes are in bloom. It was a surprise to me because it has been so dry. All it takes is a tick up in humidity for them to flower, which are very tiny and delicate. With just a little bit of wind, they will fall on the ground but if the humidity stays up, they will bloom again. Mine is just a baby plant so it’s not as impressive as the full grown ones. Plus, mine is a more subtle lavender color. I am also growing an unusual white flowered species. Most of the ones around town are a bright purple.
