A beer and a bap ...

..... which was followed by a boffin in the first a series of such events at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in collaboration with the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

Todays's beer was an alcohol free lager, the bap falafel with a beetroot spread and the "boffin" author James Robinson talking about culture, libraries and creativity.

It was interesting way to while a way an hour or so on a wet Saturday afternoon  with probably more questions raised than answered.

Earlier in the day I took part in my monthly conversation class offered by Club Gàidhlig Obar Dheathainn. We focused on some grammar structures I'd be planning to revise and so was timely and helpful (as well as being challenging in a good way).

I've also received my results for this year and have now accumulated 60 credits at SCQF Level 7.
