Anniversary Rose

What a foul day today. It started badly as Ali had been here overnight and her car was behind ours in the driveway. It meant I had to rush out with a coat other my nightie and move ours so she could take Bonnie to swimming lessons. Yuck
I haven't slept well the last couple of nights, knees and ankles and over active imagination my problem. I've not had any great results from the turmeric oil but it may be that my problem is not muscular which is what it is claimed to fix.
Josie and I played with her new fishing game which the others were out, it's funny how quickly a big sister is expected to be so grown up, even when they after only 3!
I checked out the inside of my eyelids for an hour of so this afternoon, hopefully it won't have put me off sleeping tonight, but I was done for.
Blip is a rose on one of the pair of standard roses the girls gave us for our ruby wedding - 10 years ago next month. They are both very healthy thank goodness. I think I'm going to have to give them a severe prune this autumn though, they are getting quite top heavy.
We've missed the worst of the storms I think but it's still been pretty wet
