Garden Angel

I've spent most of today in the garden, always a treat to potter to the accompaniment of the church bells  .  I'm still learning how to look after our garden but this year I have really noticed the benefits of regular feeding, both potted plants and those in the flower beds too.  The only problem with this is that everything seems to grow so much more quickly and abundantly.  So there were was a lot of cutting-back and weeding to be done.

M fitted a couple of decorative panels to one of the fences for me this morning and he also hung these 'Art Nouveau' style heads on the other fence, overlooking our Acer tree.  We bought three of them at the Brocante fair that we visited at Bayfield last Sunday and have hung them in a group.   

I rather suspect that after my first visit back to yoga for a few weeks yesterday and my gardening efforts today that I'll be feeling a bit stiff tomorrow.  Definitely time for a cup of tea.
