Breakfast time
Of the age where we like routine, I thought a shot of breakfast might do for a blip. Apart from when we are travelling, this is our go-to breakfast. We've had our wee "humpty dumpty" egg cups for many years, but a cooking trick perfected by our Scottish grandson during COVID made the breakfast result more dependable. He found that a 60 gram egg placed in boiling water will be perfectly soft boiled in 6 minutes. Extrapolation is done as required. I reject that the pre-weighing and labelling of the eggs is a sign of a personality disorder..........(grin) Freud may disagree.
Add our vitamins, orange juice and whole wheat toast and the breakfast menu is complete. Oh, and coffee - must have coffee.
